I graduate this semester, and am taking two classes I need to graduate and two I just wanted to take. I think the only class I’ll learn much in will be the Windows Server administration class but I’m going into the others with an open mind. Can’t learn something if you convince yourself you won’t.
Side note: school blocks outgoing connections on a lot of ports and if I want to access my home machines in my lab it might be cool to set up one small hardened system that acts as an ssh portal to the others, like portal.jmthomas.tech or something. It could just be a menu that when logged into over ssh only acts as a broker to send you to a different machine. This would give me a reason to push something new to my github account after years of inactivity and would actually be of use to me so I’d be motivated to complete it.
Should be simple enough and I plan on implementing it during any free time after school week is all caught up.
